Samuel Urrutia Cantoral is the Chief Executive Officer of Grupo Semusa Corp, a holding company with interest in Insurance, Real Estate, Relocation, Mortgage Brokerage and Human Resources Consulting. Besides leading Grupo Semusa companies he has developed an investing unit with a diversify industries and countries, were the group allocates opportunities.
He is a founding partner of international American Assist in Colombia, Brazil, Chile Peru and Argentina. He is also a founder partner of Intelfon (cellular) El Salvador. In the Financial area, he is founder partner and member of the board of directors of Prival Bank Panama and UNICO Red Pago Panama, who is the biggest collecting and P.O.S. Network in Panama City related to the public transportation and the payment of utilities.
He has been a creditor of many awards and accolades bestowed by the different institutions and corporations; he also had been a speaker at conferences and has authored articles related to the topic of insurance, finance and politics.
In 2000, he was selected by the Trust for the Americas (OAS) as one of 30 successful young business leaders in Latin America. He was awarded recognition “Millennium 2000 World Young Entrepreneurs Award” in the preamble of the World Forum of Young Entrepreneurs in New York City.
Mr. Urrutia has chaired several national organizations such as the American Chamber of Commerce (President 99-00), Private Sector Council for Educational Assistance COSPAE (vice 2002), and Founding Director of the Entrepreneurs Organization EO Panama. Website: http://www.eonetwork.org

Currently, he is member and founder of the Advisory Board of the Agency for the attraction of the Investments and promotions of the exports (Proinvex Panama). This board is conformed by eleven personalities with proven experience in the entrepreneurial sector.
Mr. Urrutia completed international studies in Business Management at INCAE (Costa Rica), Executive Program, Strategies and Organization at Stanford University, Professional Service Firms, Harvard Business School and Mergers & Acquisitions Business University of Chicago (USA).
